| Within each year at Guides we have 3 terms, these run in line with the local secondary schools. Term 1 Beginning of January until Easter Holidays Term 2 After Easter Holidays until Beginning of Summer Holidays (July) Term 3 End of Summer Holidays (September) until Christmas. The subs for each term is £25 per Guide. Subs are used to pay for the yearly subscription to Girlguiding UK, rent, programme resources and publications, badges, go for it cards, certificates, equipment, refreshments, gifts, outings and trips where possible. Sometimes we may ask for payment towards trips but we will endeavor to pay as mush as we can from unit funds when possible. Each term we try and hold a fund-raiser night this may be towards a charity that the Guides have chosen, it may be towards unit funds or to help subsidise a camp or holiday being attended by the majority of the Guides. We may occasionally send home fund-raising activities produces by other units these are usually produced by Individual Guides to help them achieve a challenge e.g. Baden Powell Award |
