Maire Curie Daffodils - October 2006 We planted bulbs in to pots and took them home with a sponsor form, we got our friends and family to sponsor us to look after them. We will bring them back in March when they have grown and possibly sell them to raise money for another charity. We raised £ 105.41 Stop for Tea (NSPCC) - November 2006 We held a tea/coffee morning at our meeting place, we also had a tombola and a bric-a-brac stall. We raised £235.85 Carol Singing at IKEA - December 2006 We went along to our local IKEA with another Brownie Unit and sang carols for a couple of hours and manage to raise over £160 between both units. We are going to use these funds to pay for our transport to a special day out in 2007, we are going to celebrate our county camp site's 50th Birthday. |
